About Me
Hi, I’m David Porter—a son, brother, husband, and passionate follower of Jesus Christ. I’m a sinner saved by God’s grace. My life’s mission is to serve God by helping others grow in their faith and discover the joy of walking closely with Him. My journey has been intermixed with heartache and joy, failure and victory. Through various trials I have come to know my deep need for Jesus, and that is a core truth which relates to us all. His word and faithfulness have been my anchors through each season of life. Each part of my testimony seasons my writing and reflects in how I engage with God’s word.
I’ve been blessed to obtain a BA in Religion: Biblical & Theological Studies from Liberty University. I’ve had the privilege of leading Bible studies, sharing the gospel, and creating writings that encourage believers in their spiritual journey. Ultimately my heart’s desire is focused on pointing people to the truth and hope found in Christ. Aside from ministry, I love spending time with my wife, family, and enjoying the simple blessings of life (like delicious food!). Every day is an opportunity to trust in His grace and share His love with others.
